Honeymoon on a Cruise

Most newlywed couples start off their new life together by going on a honeymoon trip. Going on a honeymoon trip gives the newly married couple a chance to spend time alone together and explore for the first time the added intimacies granted to them by their marital status in a more romantic setting. Honeymoon trips are always cherished because once the day-to-day rigors of married life set in, the time that couples would be spending with each other the way they did on their honeymoon trip would become few and far between.

Spending your honeymoon on a cruise is one of the most romantic experiences you can have in your life.  The best honeymoon cruises are big and beautiful hotels that move to different beautiful destinations.  And the great thing about cruising is that it offers something for every type of couple!

If you like beaches and warm weather you can enjoy the top honeymoon cruises on the Caribbean or Hawaii.  If, on the other side, both of you prefer colder places, you can visit other honeymoon destinations like Alaska for example.  These type of cruises offer special honeymoon packages that include different features and specials with romanticism in mind.

Depending on the cruise line, a honeymoon cruise package might include a beautiful gift basket or complimentary bottle of champagne upon boarding; gorgeous champagne breakfast in bed; spa treatments, beauty treatments, or massages; specialty adventures just for couples; dancing under the stars; and/or exclusive parties and events for you and the other honeymooners aboard the ship.

Cruise ships also have places you can shop, make an appointment at the beauty salon, have your clothes laundered, take a yoga class, visit the gym, or even attend an art auction. When you consider all these factors, a honeymoon cruise can be a very affordable option. In fact, a cruise is the original all inclusive honeymoon package.

Cruising honeymoons are the ultimate in convenience and budget if you think about it; not only do you travel around to tons of places but your room travels with you. Actually you bring the entire city full of comforts and amenities along with. You can disembark to sight see but without having to carry your luggage from place to place, and never have to worry about losing your important belongings, driving, or even the hassle of flying from place to place… and it is much cheaper than most all other forms of travel, so get ready to relax on a honeymoon cruise.

We took a cruise for our honeymoon to the Western Caribbean and had an absolutely wonderfully time. We got a balcony room and ordered breakfast in the room when we had ship days, it was really nice and laid back. Yes, I made sure to visit the spa, everyone should if you want to really feel pampered.
We’ve gone back for our 1st anniversary and are already planning for our 5th! It’s a must!! It doesn’t matter where you go, there are so many places to see and so many types of ships, just go. Once you go, you’ll become addicted like I did.
