Cruise and Stay on a Las Vegas Holiday

Cruises and standard holidays both have their perks – so imagine the fun you could have on a break that combines both. Called cruise and stay holidays, these getaways allow you to sail to your destination before spending a week or two on dry land, or you can fly to your chosen location before cruising back to the UK.

One popular option is to go on a transatlantic cruise to the US and spend a few days in New York before heading to one of the main highlights of the country’s tourism sector – Las Vegas.

With cruise and stay holidays, the cost of the necessary flights and accommodation is included, so all you have to is make sure you get to where you’re going and have as much fun as possible.

Las Vegas is a fantastic city to spend a few days in, whether you’re the gambling type or not. If you do love the odd flutter, there are plenty of places in which to do so – most of which are open 24 hours a day and offer a host of games to place your money on. And there are many other things to see and do in Las Vegas – you could go rock climbing at the Red Rock Canyon, play a round of golf or soar up, up and away as part of a hot air ballooning adventure.

If you’re fascinated by history, attractions like the Atomic Testing Museum may be more your scene, but if you want bigger, bolder entertainment there are plenty of other options.

Huge concerts featuring international megastars are a regular feature on Las Vegas’s event schedule, as is the arrival of musicals and touring acts that have been a hit elsewhere in the world. The Cirque du Soleil is another highlight of a trip to Las Vegas – the much-loved circus puts on a variety of different shows for specific audiences.

Whatever you choose to do in Las Vegas, heading to the city before or after a long, relaxing cruise across the Atlantic is sure to make for an unforgettable getaway.
